Update with my life...this'll be short!

Hey there to all of the 6 people that actually read my blog. I can't think of anything exciting to post...so I'll just let you know the most up-to-date stuff in my world.

We have a new girl that started at work yesterday that I am training to be my counter-part here at the branch. We needed someone to come in to help out because I am super busy all of the time...and because when I leave to bring my Little Pea into the world we need someone at work that can do my job! Her name is Ashley. She is exactly like Trisha in everyway imaginable. Plus she is super forgetful/accident prone just like me. It's like she could be one of my sisters/cousins and would fit in as if she's always been around! I really like her.

Next...this is the last week of the second trimester! I can't believe I'm just shy of being 2/3 the way through this pregnancy thing! It's been so slow! I feel like I've been pregnant for a year already. It almost feels like I'm that wife that is always pregnant...does that make sense? It makes sense to me. But soon enough I will be able to hold our little guy and kiss him and become the overbearing, protective mother that we all know I am destined to be --- please know that I am totally joking!

Mark and I are going to be an aunt and uncle to a brand new baby in September! I can't express to you all how excited I am that my little man and Asher's little one will be right at the same age! I always loved having cousins in my age range to hang out with! So I can't wait to have fun with them and watch them grow up together! I'm also excited that I get to experience at least part of this crazy pregnancy thing with one of my sisters! It's nice to have the knowledge of everyone that's already gone through it...but it's also really great to be able to talk to someone in the thick of it with you!

That's pretty much all of the new stuff happening with me. I told you it'd be short.

A REAL TEXAS 911 CALL( funny as hell)

This makes me laugh so hard everytime I listen to it. The pic is not the guy that's calling. It's a pic of twin brothers from London. One of them has been doing the dirty with sheep and they can't figure out which one it was...anyway...enjoy the audio!!! HILLARIOUS!

Baby name vote!

Alright...Mark and I have come to a stand-still with choosing a baby name for our Little Pea. We've decided to put it to a vote...you guys will have about 49% of the say...leaving the other 51% to Mark and I. But we would love your input!!! Here is the list...and if there is more later I'll add to the list. So we had some different names we liked before we created this list...but I found a website that analysed names and the few names we were thinking of were associated with aggressive personalities and I instantly turned from liking them to not being too fond of them. So with no further ado here is the list we've come up with:

1. Ayden James
2. Parker Louis
3. Noah Curtis
4. Connor Robert
5. Jackson Taylor
6. Hunter Lee

Alright...there is the list. One of the names we're not super serious about but we're trying to see if you guys like it at all or not...if you are the name might make a serious leap to the head of the pack. Please let me know good or bad what you think. If you can think of how kids would make fun of the names feel free to comment! We want to have some foresight with these situations.

Little Baby Mathews checkup.

Today was another checkup for my little man. He's doing great and I'm now more on target for my weight gain. I tried to keep the fatty foods at bay and walk a lot more this month and it paid off. Thank goodness. My baby boy is growing just as great as can be expected. His heartbeat is healthy and he is average size so far. I'm really REALLY happy he's not above average in size...yet. I don't want to push an 8 1/2 lb baby out of my hoo haa...do you know what I mean?! Average is key for my happiness right now!

15 times...

That is how many times I had to go to the bathroom yesterday. This number does not include the night before or afer...just yesterDAY. And the thing that kills me is I run to the bathroom doing the potty dance as if I've downed two gallons of water in the last 10 minutes and when I finally get to go it's nothing more than a quick dribble. What is that?! This baby in my belly thing is making everything so different. I can't even put my socks on the same way cuz I can't bend over like I used to. Worth all of it...but funny to experience nonetheless.

And Maverick was not a serious name Mark and I were considering. Our sister-in-law, Stephanie sent that name to Mark as a serious suggestion though. Mark and I just can't do that to our kid. Maybe Goose or Icebox...but not Maverick...that's just too much to ask one little kid to live up to :)

Week of Viability! And a possible name?

So this is a critical week for our little man! It is the week of viability! Which essentially means that from this point forward his chances of survival are great. This is the week he could be born and survive (with proper care of course)...and each day he's in my bellers he has a better chance to enjoy this world with his family! He can stay in there as long as he needs to so we can have a happy, healthy boy!....

One more thing...what does everyone think of the name Maverick?
